Next Save Middle Head Public Meeting 11 November 2014

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”
Martin Luther King

The September 16 Board Minutes, which records the approval of the aged care decision facility by the Board Members, have now been published. You can read them here.

Although Chair Tinney congratulates the Trust on its “comprehensive assessments”, I do not congratulate Ms Tinney or the rest of the Board on its erroneous and dismaying decision to approve aged care, by a 7-1 vote.

Mr Peter Lowry OAM, founding Trust Board Member 1998, was the only Member to vote against aged care. We congratulate Peter.

Our legal advice received one year ago was that this proposal for the aged care facility was unlawful. Therefore we intend to now raise funds for a legal challenge. We hope that you can generously contribute to our fund, which will be launched at our next public meeting on Tuesday 11 November. The Sydney Harbour Federation Trust Act is very clear. Apparently the Trust Board Members, except for Mr. Lowry, are very blinkered.
