As a result of community reaction to the original proposed development application for an aged care residential home on Middle Head the proponent, Middle Head Health Care, has submitted a revised development application. This revised application has gone not to the Trust but has been referred directly to the federal Minister for the Environment, Greg Hunt, to decide if the proposed development IS or IS NOT a Controlled Action.
It is important to write to the Minister to persuade him that this proposed development IS A CONTROLLED ACTION and that it requires environmental approval.We are developing guidelines to assist you in making a submission that will fulfil the very strict requirement set out by the Department of the Environment to ensure that what you write will actually be considered. Submissions due by Wednesday 14 May 2014.
